What are you waiting for?

Choose your subject - check out the category briefs below and our 2022 winners for inspiration.
Take the pictures - there's lots of advice on taking the best photos in the photo tips section.
Enter your details - take a look at the rules of entry.
Upload your photos - your photos should be no bigger than 10MB, in JPEG format and no smaller than 600x600 pixels.

You can enter up to five photos for each of the following categories:

Your age category - under 12, 12-15 Years or 16-18 Years
Pet Personalities
Pet Portraits
Small World
Mobile Phone and Devices
Portfolio - in this category you can enter up to three portfolios each made up of five photos, all must be different subjects.

People's Choice Award

This award is made of entries to the YPA which are then put to a public vote.

Pet Personalities

If you can't resist sneaking a snap of your pet while they're at play, or asleep, or doing any of the other super-cute things pets do... well, then this is the category for you!
