About Me

Breed: Domestic Shorthair crossbreed
Colour: Black
Age: 14 Years (approx)

Pretty Holly is 14 years old. She is looking for a new home as sadly her elderly owner was struggling to care for her.

Holly is an adorable kitty who loves being stroked. She’s not one for sitting on a lap but she will jump up and stand on your lap to draw attention and request fuss! As soon as she is stroked, she’ll give a little meow to show her appreciation. Holly will play with cat balls and has a favourite toy which is a mouse hanging on a stick. Playtime doesn’t normally last long as she would much rather be stroked or brushed. Even though she is 14, Holly enjoys a mad 2 minutes of activity in the evening dashing about. She can’t jump high but uses the cat tree to get onto the windowsill where she watches and talks to the birds. She may be a quiet cat but she has lots of character and makes her presence known when she walks into the room.

Holly is a sensitive cat who doesn't like change and can easily be stressed. Unfortunately, when she is worried, she defecates by the front door. This behaviour has lessened over time in her foster home but has not completely resolved. Her new owner will need to be very patient and understanding and advice will be given to try and help Holly adjust and feel as stress-free as possible.

Holly is in good health for a cat of her age. She does have a flea allergy and the start of arthritis. She is vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered. Holly is looking for a calm, relaxed, adult-only home with no other pets.
