find a rescue pet

Bringing a rescue pet into your life is a big decision, and we’re here to help. Use our RSPCA Find a Pet search to explore animals near you, or learn how adoption and fostering works so you can make the choice that’s right for you.

Every animal deserves safety and comfort, and your decision to rehome could change a life. When you adopt or foster through the RSPCA, you’re giving an animal a second chance, supported by expert care every step of the way.

Our RSPCA rehoming teams work across England and Wales to find safe, suitable homes for animals in our care, matching each pet to the environment that will best support their welfare. Last year, 70 animals a day found new homes, and the fresh start they deserved. Thousands of pets for adoption are cared for by our centres each year, all looking for a second chance. Whether you’re ready to search now or still exploring your options, we’re here to guide you.

Could fostering a pet be right for you?

If you’re not ready for a long-term commitment, fostering could be a brilliant way to help. You’ll give an animal a safe, loving space while they wait for their forever home and we’ll provide support, advice and essential costs. Fostering changes lives, especially for animals who need extra time, stability or confidence.
