  • 2 Take the pictures. Check the photo tips section if you need guidance.
  • 3 Enter your details. Introduce yourself and your images, and take a look at the rules of entry.
  • 4 Upload your photos! Your photos should be no bigger than 10MB, in JPEG format.

Under 12 years

If you're aged 11 or under when the competition closes, then this is the category for you.

12-15 years

This category is for anyone aged between 12 and 15 when the competition closes.

16-18 years

This category is for anyone aged between 16 and 18 when the competition closes.

Pet portraits

Does your pet love sitting still for a portrait? Then we want to see your work!

Everything came together - the stag, the light, the positioning. The golden outline shrouds the individual in mystery while maintaining their iconic outline.

Documenting animals

We invite three images that tell a story about animals, showing a beginning, middle and end. Young photographers can capture real events, people and places to inspire, educate or create change.

It’s very surreal and amazing to have won! I was surprised at being shortlisted as a finalist so to actually win makes me determined to keep going and keep improving.
