About this event

This event is not your average half marathon. From cultural landmarks and heritage to the city's quirky and hidden secrets, runners get to explore the capital on a route like no other, all on closed roads.

The race starts at The Strand, finishes by Downing Street and has fabulous views of London's most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul's Cathedral, Nelson's Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye.

Charity places

Take on the unique London Landmarks Half Marathon as part of RSPCA Team Animal. We'll be there to cheer you round the course on event day with our themed cheer station in Animal Alley.

By raising money for the RSPCA you'll be helping us create a world that's kinder to animals.

Fundraising

Running with your own place?

If you're lucky enough to get a ballot place in the event we'd love you to run as part of RSPCA Team Animal.

You'll receive full support from our team including a running vest when you raise over £50.

Hear from one our runners

"I love animals and would do anything to support the RSPCA. I own two wonderful rescue cats: Teddy and Silvie Socks (we recently said goodbye to our wonderful older cat, Miss Olive) - they make my life richer. Deciding to run in the London Landmarks Half Marathon meant the RSPCA was an obvious choice to raise money for. Every step for every penny - helps support animals in need. This motivates me to keep on running!"

Rebecca Isaac-Griffiths

Helping animals in need is all the motivation Rebecca needs to keep on running.

All our runners benefit from

  • RSPCA team animal personalised running vest made from recycled plastic bottles.
  • Cheering group along the route on the day, which your friends and family can join.
