People's choice
The judges will shortlist a maximum of 15 images from the Mobile phone and devices, Pet personalities, and Pet portraits categories, which will be put to a public vote in March 2026 to find the winner of the People's choice award.
Winner of the 2025 vote
The winner of the 2025 vote was Eilidh Shannon, which shows pet dog Lexie poking her head out of a cat flap.
"I'm so pleased to have won the People's choice award. It's an incredible feeling! My dogs are like best friends and I find you can just sit next to them and whether you're happy or sad, they're there for you. Lexie always likes to know what's going on. If I go to the garden, she can't bear it if she's not allowed to come too. She uses the cat flap to keep a close eye on me!"
