Description
It was a late sunny evening when I went out specifically looking for a spider in action. I spotted one on the gate in my garden. I forgot that I was scared of spiders and with my macro lens I had to be one inch away from it! I tilted the lens, searching for the angle where the evening sun shone on the spider. What I got was a spider that lights up around the edges, with transparent legs. I loved how the brown wooden fence and a patch of green grass gave it a striking contrast of colour, showing the spider off beautifully.

Description
We are a musical family and between us we play the saxophone, guitar, clarinet, drums, bagpipes, ukulele and xylophone. Maisie likes to join in and sing along. Her particular favourites are the sax and clarinet, and she reaches some really high notes. Occasionally she has a backing singer when our other dog Lexie joins in. Maisie was joining in with a practice one day when I put the stand down so she could see the music herself and borrowed my mum’s phone to capture the moment.

Description
This is a photo of my dog Rosie when she is ready for a nap. She is lying on her bed after a walk, poking her head out so that she doesn’t miss anything! She is really cute and I love taking her photo. She is a very good model! This photo has to be one of my favourites because of the look on her face and the wrinkles on her forehead which remind me of when she was a puppy.
